As I write the new “Miz on Music” I am sitting on a 14-hour plane from Sydney, Australia, to Los Angeles. I just did a three- day media tour down under and had a blast. I started my radio interviews, TV spots, magazine photo shoots, etc. at 6 AM and ended around 8 PM each night. Was I tired? Yes. However, on my free time I still got to go to a footy game (Rugby more or less), eat a meat pie, and perfect my aussie accent. So you all should feel very lucky I’m finding time to talk about music. What am I talking about, there’s always time for music. This month I’ve decided that I’m going to talk about my new entrance music. I’ve always been asked “Miz, how do you get your entrance music? Do you get to pick it out? Are you hands-on in writing the lyrics or music? Do you pick the band?” March 10 2010

R Truth and David Otunga vs. The Miz and Daniel Bryan Bryan and Truth start things off and Bryan offers his hand but Truth dances instead. Otunga sends Truth over the top rope for a plancha and we go to commercial. We are back and Bryan has Truth in a Dragon sleeper. We see footage from the commercial break when Miz berated Bryan and then Miz kicked the ropes and Truth hit the mat hard. Back to live action and Bryan with a rear chin lock. Miz turns it into a cravate and then he keeps Truth from making the tag. Truth with a sunset flip for a near fall and then Miz hits a clothesline and he punches Truth. VIEW DIGITALS + VIEW SCREENCAPTURES We see Big Show and Miz walking backstage as we go to commercial. We’re back from commercial, and ShowMiz is on their way to the ring. Miz tells us that John Morrison & R-Truth earned the right to challenge for the Unified Tag Team Title at Wrestlemania, but not since Lex Luger and the British Bulldog have such a boring team gotten a shot at the tag team title, and they’d even rather face the Bushwhackers at Wrestlemania, at least they’re an actual team. He says shame on the WWE Universe for not realizing what is standing in front of them, they are hot commodities because they are the last truly great tag team in WWE. This brings out Morrison and R-Truth for a non-title match. Winner: No Contest March 9 2010

McGaw – who played Hammer on the hit TV series Gladiators – has spent the week training at his Jones Bay Wharf gym with Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, who is in Sydney to promote Wrestlemania XXVI. The 1980s Cronulla favourite, who still looks like he could bust heads on the footy field, was also happy to offer the 105kg wrestling superstar a few tips, having just opened “Sparkles” gym as part of his expanding business, the Mark McGaw Institute of Sports Science. “We opened the gym around Christmas and when we heard The Miz would be in town, I thought it would be great to have him train here,” McGaw laughed. “I’ve got three kids and another three step-kids, so I already knew plenty about him. Every afternoon I get home from work and someone has the wrestling on. They love The Miz. Although I’ve always been a fan of The Rock.” Mizanin also visited Wests Tigers as part of his promotional duties for the upcoming Wrestlemania extravaganza in Phoenix, Arizona – which screens here live on Main Event on March 29. “Those Tigers guys, they go hard in the gym, don’t they?” the Californian enthused.
