Mizfits follow @HouseOfMaryse n i think its about time I've gotten to 600k RT @maryse0uellet: Planet sexy follow @HouseOfMaryse

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog on JRsbarbq.com. Below are the main highlights:

The Miz winning the WWE Championship: “I’ve been touting Miz for months on this site as a future big time player and one that I felt several months ago would be in the main event mix at Wrestlemania in Atlanta. Looks like that may well happen now. As for Miz being WWE Champion and specifically for all the naysayers, I suggest that you allow this matter to evolve more than just a few hours before damning it. Antagonist champions who are physically beatable on any given night and who have talented albeit annoying verbal skills are a nice persona traits for a successful champion to have.”

The DVR is the most amazing invention ever. Seeing that I travel all over the place and am rarely home I don’t get to see the shows I normally would watch. However, with DVR it allows me to get all the wonderful shows I love. You might be asking yourself, “What does this have to do with music?” Well Mizfits, I DVR Saturday Night Live and a lot of Late Night Talk Shows which have musical guests on them, so with this MIZ on Music I want to dive into musical performances on TV.

I feel like every time I see a SNL musical performance it’s horrible. They either don’t sound as good as the CD or they are lip singing or they are boring. I can only name two that have blown me away.

The first was Lady Gaga and she didn’t even sing one of her popular songs. She didn’t have one of her “fabulous” dresses or outfits on or at least it wasn’t the center of attention. All eyes were on her playing the piano like I’ve never seen played before. Normally I don’t think Lady Gaga is sexy but during this performance where one leg was propped up on the piano and she was pounding away singing her heart out and I couldn’t help but be in awe. Her voice was pure and beautiful and the way she played the piano made me an instant fan because I knew this girl was legit and not some wanna be autotuned pop star.

As I write this, it’s 4 am on Thursday night. I have the opportunity to wake up at 9 am and go see President Obama speak at USC. Over 30,000 people are supposedly attending, and I have front-row seats. I was told that the president normally shakes everyone’s hand who sits in the front row. However, right now I’m not tired. I will probably sleep through it because I am up writing this blog.

How important do you feel reading The Miz vs. THQ now that you know that?

The release of SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is finally upon us (Tuesday, Oct. 26th) and my job of letting the WWE Universe know exactly what to look forward to is done. So this will be my final Miz vs. THQ blog. (Please. no tears. You’ll just embarrass yourself.)

We’ve grown so much throughout these five blogs through my words of wisdom. Twelve months ago, I was the Superstar in SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 that was rated with the Divas, and lower than Tommy Dreamer, JTG, Primo, and The Brian Kendrick. Fast forward to now, and I’m the Superstar that earned his spot, to the point that THQ demanded he was put on the cover of the game and chose him to be the featured Superstar of their marketing campaign.

Very good choice, THQ.

Blog No. 4 is being written to you from a Seattle Denny’s at 1 a.m. due to my body still being on Australian time. They say it takes a week to return to your regular sleep schedule. However, I don’t think I have a normal bedtime, so I’m always up at weird hours.

As you may or may not know, I was nominated for the Baddest Baddie award at Nickelodeon’s Australian Kids’ Choice Awards. To make sure I won, I tweeted to all the Aussie kids out there to vote me as the Baddest Baddie for an entire month.

Let’s give credit where credit is due: I am a pretty mean guy and I deserve to be recognized for my talents. To sway the votes even more, I took the 18-hour flight Down Under to attend as well as do as much media as possible leading up to the awards show.

I started my trip taking pictures with Charlie the Koala Bear, who was sleeping the entire shoot. “Oh, I’m sorry, Charlie. Did you just get off an 18-hour flight? No! So the least you could do is actually wake up for 5 minutes. Give me a big smile as to make like you are really excited that I’m in Australia. Then take your lazy big-nosed face and sleep again.” But no, all that chump did was sleep, so all my pictures are of him sleeping and me smiling like an idiot.

Charlie the Koala Bear is not a team player. Thanks Charlie, I hope you fall off your tree.

First and foremost, I want to recognize the fact that the traffic going here to WWE.THQ.COM has doubled since last year. Some of the THQ insiders say it’s due to the new look of the site.

I beg to differ.

In case you didn’t know, The Miz is a ratings spike. My Mizfits are loyal followers. But I will give credit where credit is due — the site looks great, and having a page entirely dedicated to The Miz is quite impressive. However, brown nosing me doesn’t get viewers. The Miz gets viewers, so I will take full credit for the increase.

You’re welcome, THQ.

You’re also welcome for the success of the SmackDown vs. Raw 2011’s recent roster reveal party. For those of you that weren’t there live in San Francisco, or didn’t catch it on Gamespot.com, here’s a brief synopsis. You missed Howard Finkel, Justin Roberts, Cory Ledesma (THQ’s resident nerd) and Eve talking about how exciting it is to have JTG in the game.
