Live RAW Coverage – 21/06

Randy has something to say and he tells the people of NXT that if they want to interfere in his match, that is fine. Now that all of them are under contract, it is a matter of time before he punts every one of them in the skull. Orton tells Wade Barrett that he accepts his apology and he hopes that Wade becomes the next WWE Champion because then he is staring in the eyes of the man who is going to take it from him.

The Miz interrupts Randy Orton and he has something AWESOME to say. Miz wonders if we really are going to see another Randy Orton title match. Miz says that he hears voices in his head and they are tired of seeing him in title matches. He is sick of Orton hitting his RKO on people and he is sick of Randy Orton. Miz says that Orton has done a lot but there is something that Randy Orton never did and that is to hold the WWE
and United States Title at the same time. Miz says that Orton has had enough chances and it is time for Orton to go to the back of the line. Miz says that the next title match is his. It is an industry secret and he says that it is because he is the Miz and Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee’s kicking Orton in the midsection and punching him in the head. Miz misses a clothesline but Orton hits a power slam. Orton turns into the mat and does RKO push ups but Miz goes to the floor before Orton can hit an RKO. Edge makes his way to the ring and he sneaks up on Orton and hits a spear.

Edge tells Orton now it is time for the real fun to begin.

Alex Riley mentions The Miz

In a recent interview with WWE.com, Alex Riley mentioned The Miz several times.

WWE.com: What did you think about MVP’s speech about the week one initiation?
RILEY: I respect MVP and all of the WWE Pros, but I’m not positive I trust them. So I appreciated the speech. Obviously my WWE Pro wasn’t there. We put things behind us, and I have a lot of respect for The Miz. But I am hesitant to trust them as of yet.

WWE.com: How has your relationship been with your WWE Pro, The Miz?
RILEY: Great. The Miz and I get along really well. After the first mistake he made trying to come after me, we have resolved things. The Miz is a reality TV star and I am a star in reality, and that’s a match made in heaven. We’re almost like Bonnie & Clyde. Of course, he’s Bonnie and I’m Clyde.

WWE.com: What has The Miz taught you in the first two weeks of competition?
RILEY: He doesn’t really need to teach me anything. I still really do enjoy The Miz. He has furthered my development as a NXT Rookie, not that there was much more that I needed. But he has kind of brought me full circle.

WWE.com: And what’s with the symbol you made with your hands when you earned your first victory last week? It seems a little similar to the one the Miz makes.
RILEY: It had nothing to do with The Miz. I came up with that a while ago. It means “back off.” Really, it’s just, “Back off. I’m better than you. Don’t try to challenge me.” I feel like I am way above this competition.

I do respect the WWE Pros. There’s a little I need to learn. There are some things I need to hone in on, and as soon as that happens – and I expect that to happen in the next two or three weeks – I am coming after a championship.
